Our journey
From a kitchen table
to a community
The first envelope
It started small — groceries and a paid heating bill for a neighbouring family having a hard winter. No paperwork, just help.
We made it a foundation
Friends asked to give alongside us, so we made it official and registered as a 501(c)(3) — promising full transparency from day one.
From aid to programs
Beyond emergency help, we launched creative, nature-based and family-support programs so children had places to grow, not just get by.
500 families later
What began at one table had reached hundreds of households across Chicago — every gift still tracked and given by hand.
A growing family of givers
Today the Foundation is a community: volunteers, partners and donors who all believe in helping the way family does — openly and together.
